It is accessible from road No. 74, through a minor road. The nearest railway stations are in Korpavár and Nagykanizsa. Characteristics: The only economic firm working in the village is the „Egyetértés” agricultural co-operative of Fűzvölgy. Two private entrepreneurs are registered in Homokkomárom. 100% of the roads are paved; all apartments are supplied with running water. 45% of the households are connected to the telephone system. The number of inhabitants is 221. The village is planning to reconstruct local roads, establish a gas network and construct a sewage system. Sights: The Roman Catholic Church of the settlement was built in the first half of the 18th century, the building stands outside of the village, on a hill.
